I am pleased to introduce and recommend to you Marsha King. She is a committed
Christian with quite a story to tell in word and song.
Marsha’s personal life has been filled with much struggle and tragedy. She has faced life-
threatening illness, the death of a young son, and the loss of another son to drugs and
prison. Coping with such distress Marsha found hope in God that not only sustained her
but gave her great joy and hope for the future. She has told her story in a book, Peace in the
Midst of the Storm.
Marsha is a woman with remarkable musical talent. A recording artist with several CDs of
Christian music to her credit, she has a rich, versatile voice that equals any Christian singer
in the country.
I came to know Marsha as a colleague when I served a few months as Interim Director of a
Christian counseling center in Wilmington where she is on the staff. My own professional
life is that of a pastor, military chaplain, pastoral counselor, and for several years director of
a good-sized counseling center. During my time with Marsha I was introduced to her
writing, her recordings, and her concert performance skills.
Marsha is not a typical performer seeking to make a name for herself. She is an authentic
Christian with a genuine message of faith and hope for struggling people. If you decide to
invite her to sing for your organization, everyone will be blessed.
Sincerely,
Gilbert W. Beeson, BD, MS, PhD

"It is comforting to know that regardless of a
person’s circumstances, our loving God is not
unreachable.
You will be encouraged by biblical teaching,
testimonies, inspirational stories and
wonderful, uplifting songs. After experiencing
Marsha’s ministry for yourself, you will
definitely want to bring this event to your
friends.”

"Marsha's music is soothing as it plays to and draws out a
specific set of emotions related to surrendering and releasing
the "worry side" of personal dilemma. Her message consistently
points to a relationship with Christ, the only real answer. If people
in relational and emotional distress find their way to Marsha's
works, they will be well served.
